Black Women business owners face racial and gender discrimination throughout their careers and ultimatley just want to be supported to the same extent of their counterparts.

INSIGHT:

Black Business owners are struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic.

IDEA:

During November, Buy from a Black Woman celebrates entrepreneurial resilience through equity by blacking out Target aisles to give Black women business owners their own curated spaces.

IN STORE EXPERIENCE

Upon entering the store, customers will be led to the in-aisle experience through a series of floor decals and signage.

Customers will also have the option to purchase co-branded merch where the proceeds will go towards supporting resources and financial assistance to Black Women business owners.

ONLINE EXPERIENCE

If customers can't make it to participating Target locations, they will also have the opportunity to purchase products directly online.

PARTNERSHIP: WAZE

Customers utilizing Waze will receive notifications that will lead them directly to participating target stores with the path being progressively becoming black as they get closer to Target.
